Deleting whitewash from the wall

The finishing materials have one not very good property: they hold perfectly on whitewashing, but only on the last layer. Therefore, after applying putty or plaster, the last layer of whitewashing (and there may be several dozen of them) heavier, which leads to its exfoliation along with new finishing material. Therefore, before starting finishing work, it is best to get rid of whitewashing. Whitewashing can be in different ways, therefore, methods of combating it can be different. For example, often in order to wash off lime, it is enough to arm yourself with a rag and water, and sometimes you have to painstakingly puff over the wall with a spatula in your hand. Let’s try to deal with the easiest and most classic method of cleaning the wall. Before starting work, you need to wet the wall — so you will get rid of excess dust and dirt. You can do this with a wet rag or spray gun. After that, with the help of a spatula, it removes the layer of whitewashing that is best. After that, with the help of a metal brush in a circular motion, we remove the entire lime that we have left on the wall. The last stage — we take a bucket, a rag and clean the wall, gently removing the remaining whitewashing from the wall.
