Plassing of aerated concrete

To apply plaster to the walls of aerated concrete, you need to own certain professional skills and be very careful, otherwise you cannot avoid chatting web or swelling of the material in different places. Before applying plaster, the walls are treated with a primer that will protect against moisture and create a good clutch of the wall with plaster. The temperature at the time of application of the primer should be at least 10 degrees with a plus, and the surface of the wall is dry.

After the surface is plastered, a special layer is applied, which will protect the plaster from sharp temperature fluctuations. Aerated concrete and without it withstands sharp changes, but due to absorbed moisture, the material can crack. A layer of plaster should be observed within 9 mm. Hydrophobizer or elastic paint will protect the house from heavy rains. For reinforcement, it is advisable to use alkali -based material, otherwise nothing will remain from the reinforcing mesh in a few years. For walls with a thickness of less than 300 mm, additional thermal insulation is needed. Mineral wool is suitable as such a material. The thickness of such plates is completely dependent on the climate and on some features of the building itself.
