Types of construction adhesives

With the advent of many different materials on the market, respectively, there was a need to expand the range of fasteners and adhesive means. As for the latter, often adhesives are even wider than fastening materials. Consider some types of glue.

1. Glue for wallpaper

The most suitable type of wallpaper glue is material containing carboxymethyl cellulose. Thanks to this substance, when the powder dissolves in the water, the clods are not formed, the glue is the same, uniform consistency. In order not to be mistaken as glue, you need to take into account the fact that the powder should be white and without any kind of shavings.

2. «Liquid nails»

This is a type of adhesive, which is based on water-dispersion acrylic copolymers. Glue was invented for fasteners of various materials. This type of glue, in principle, can be called universal. «Liquid nails» applied directly to glued materials with drops or thin lines, depending on the weight of the materials.

3. Latex -based glue

Used to glue any kind of materials, while the substance is applied with a thin layer and grasped for an hour.
