Types of suspended ceilings

Stretch structures are distinguished by excellent moisture resistance, so they are used in various types of rooms. In the event of a flood, the water remains on the surface, as a result of which the film sags and water can be drained. Therefore, in the case of a bay, just through the openings for the lamp, for example, get rid of water. The use of a stretch ceiling does not limit design solutions, since there is a wide range of shades and textures.

The following types of stretch structures are distinguished:

1) translucent – presented in the form of a film that passes the light. With a competent arrangement of lighting devices, you can create the effect of the presence of a window. However, to create interesting effects, it will be necessary to lower the ceiling about forty centimeters, otherwise light scattering will not be so effective.

2) varnish – or glossy surface helps to visually increase the room. The bright finish helps to enhance the effect.

3) matte – creates an amazing effect of the fabric surface.

4) perforated – differs in the location on the surface of the ceiling of the holes of a certain diameter.

5) photo printing effect – suggests a white or beige base on which various photocells are applied.

6) drawing effect – Bright base on which the drawing is applied manually.
