We seal the seams of drywall

Apply a primer to the seams of drywall and wait until they are saturated with it. The wall should completely dry. After work, wash the brush under a stream of water.

Now you need to make a mixture to which the joints of drywall sheets are wiped. You can use a ready -made mixture with a latex base from plastic containers. This is a fairly good putty, has no shrinkage and looks great on the painted ceiling. But the mixture can be done independently. To do this, you need a finish putty, which usually completes the repair.

The right amount of finish putty based on gypsum is poured into the bucket, poured with water and mixed to thick sour cream. Will accelerate the process of the construction mixer installed on the drill. It is important that the finished mass does not slide off the spatula, because its structure should be homogeneous.

Apply a slightly putty to the seams with a narrow spatula and pour them. Be sure to evenly smear them at the seams.

On the fresh gypsum mass, stick the Serpyanka tape on the entire processed section of the seam. Align the tape with a spatula and press it a little into the solution on the seam. Wait until it dries completely.

Pull the excess putty with fine -grained sandpaper, clean from dust and proceed to gluing wallpaper.
