DIY door frame strengthening

There are cases when, with a weak strengthening of the box by the builders or simply, the box was shaken during operation, then the additional fastening is performed. For this purpose, openings with a diameter of 8-10 millimeters at least 50 millimeters in the wall are made in advance using the drill (a quarter of the box is the frequency of drilling). Then they measure the depth of the hole, which drilled, cut off the same length of the steel pin and clog it, this insulation of the thickness of 2-3 millimeters of wood.

When reinforced by the hinges of the box mount, you need to drill at least three holes in a quarter of the box, since in this part of the box you need an enhanced version. Next, drive pins from steel into these holes with a distance of 10-15 millimeters so that they protrude from the plane of the quarter. In the door opposite the holes is drilled with a depth of at least 20 millimeters of the hole, which have a diameter in which the pins made of steel into these holes are freely entered, while not interfering with the door closing. Such manipulations strengthen reliably not only the box, but also the door itself, since the ends released from steel pins will enter the door holes.
