Types of the foundation
The construction of the foundation is the first stage of the construction of a house or bath, and the responsible approach to it largely determines the further existence of the building. Often they spend large amounts on the foundation, but the high cost does not always guarantee durability and reliability. When erecting the foundation, it is necessary to take into account the depth of laying, the type of soil, groundwater level, mass and type of planned structure. In this regard, the type of foundation is determined-columnar, pile-screw or strip. Read more about the construction of the foundation on the site .
Column foundation
The columnar foundation is erected on non-poudy or low-gun soils for small wooden or frame-shaft baths and houses. Work requires one day, and the basis is concrete blocks without a solution, towering 40 cm from the level of soil. Such a foundation is inexpensive, but can “sit down” due to low stability in mobile kidneys and relatively high pressure on the ground.
Pile-screw foundation
Pile-screw foundations came to civilian construction from military industry. Screw pile is a metal pipe with drilling blades, which, when twisting, compact the soil, which allows you to use these piles in difficult places for construction. Pile foundations are very durable (pile is able to withstand up to 4-5 tons) and durable. Building will take 1-2 days.
The strip foundation
The most profitable is the strip fine foundation. This species is especially suitable for construction in the north-west, where most soils (up to 80%) change in volume as they freeze, t. e. are heaving. The foundation is buried above the level of freezing of the soil to exclude side loads, to ensure high strength and integrity of the structure.
